LEARNING FROM THE PAST

What’s one of your more significant mistakes? But a mistake that you learned from.

A lot, I love to refer to them as lessons learned. Every single thing that I’ve done that didn’t work out or didn’t go the way I wanted or planned. You know, make a mistake, but learn or get something from it as I said, my journey of learning to code and finally starting a business and finally finding clients that didn’t happen in a snap. So, because I was afraid of doing something wrong or it not being right, that’s why.

If someone walks up to you like a younger version of you and wants to do what you do, how are you going to explain it?

I would start with two things, learn a skill, whatever that is, that can be turned into a service that you can offer, and then find a communal. If those two things are combined, you’re unstoppable. And if other people want to learn that too, start teaching it. I’m a big believer in leading with value, giveaway advice, be to an extent, just be the person that is helpful and kind. That goes the extra mile because people will remember that. And if you want to create a movement, the community creating your own, a community that people are proud of being a part of that they feel like part of a tribe. Spend lots and lots and lots of time with them.
